RIP Ron Hayward

CCS's beloved model for 26+ years, passed away Sunday morning. Ron was the best model the world had to offer, without a doubt. This is an old piece from foundations, but I feel as though I must pay my homage to the fantastic Mr. Ron Hayward.

Inspiration: Christmas Cards for Noah Biorkman

here is a link to the facebook group page for Christmas Cards for Noah Biorkman
Noah is a five year old boy with terminal cancer. He isn't expected to survive til Christmas, and so his family is celebrating Christmas early. His mother says the boy loves Christmas cards, and so they asked family and friends to send cards early for the kid, which turned into a whole internet thing, and so everyone is invited to send a Christmas card to Noah.
As artists, this is an opportunity to make art that can really do a lot to uplift a family going through something very hard.
Also, this is a great opportunity for CCS students to make a quickie Christmas card that has nothing to do with the NFL.
It would only take a half-hour or so to make a nice card for the lad
then mail it to
